A poem in prose by Siv RedThistle

Embers burn in shatter'd dark.

'Twas lost, buried, cast away.

Ghost of flames lost to time,

Heart pierced, stone split

Until born the smokeless flame.

His dark veil now inferno,

Fear devour'd, in Ra's mighty gaze

Power flickers, dances, crackles

Candles now liquid wax and jealous presence.

Birds sing your name on sun-dappl'd wings:

"Fahima of the wildfire --"

She who burns the wind.

Forever at our side,

The light in the void.
